III - TRIGGER system (cont'd)
Steps
1. Configure the type
1) Press the "TRIG MENU" key to display the "Trigger" menu.
2) Press the "Type" option key and choose "Edge".
2. Configure the Triggering source
To select the source, press the "Source" button to choose "CH1", "CH2",
"EXT", "EXT/5", or "AC Line".
3. Configure the Slope
Press the "Slope" button to choose " ", " " or " ".
4. Configure the triggering mode (Trigger)
Press the "Trigger mode" key to choose "Auto", "Normal", "Single".
Auto: The trace is refreshed even if the triggering condition is not satisfied.
Normal: The trace is refreshed when the triggering condition is satisfied and
waits for the next triggering event when the condition is not satisfied.
Single: The oscilloscope acquires a signal when the triggering condition is
satisfied, then stops.
5. Configure the Trigger coupling
a. Press the "Set Up" key to access the "Trigger Configuration" menu.
b. Press the "Coupling" key to choose "DC", "AC", "HF Reject", or "LF
Reject".
