Description
Type
Edge
The rising or falling edge of the source signal is used for
triggering.
Source
CH1
CH2
The triggering source is active whether or not the channel
is displayed.
EXT
The EXT TRIG source is not displayed. The EXT source
uses the signal on the EXT TRIG input. The triggering
level range is between -1.2V and +1.2V.
EXT/5
Identical to the EXT option, but the signal is attenuated by
a factor of 5. The triggering range is multiplied by 5, and is
between +6V and -6V.
AC
A signal derived from the mains supply is used as
triggering source. The trigger coupling is set to DC and the
triggering level to 0V.
Slope
Triggering on the rising edge of the source signal.
Triggering on the falling edge of the source signal.
Triggering on the rising and falling edges of the source
signal.
Mode
Auto
The trace is refreshed even in the absence of a triggering
event.
Normal
The trace is refreshed when the triggering condition is
satisfied and waits for the next triggering event when the
condition is not satisfied.
Single
The oscilloscope acquires a signal when the triggering
condition is satisfied, and then stops.
Set Up
Access to the "Trigger Configuration Menu".

AC
Blocks the DC components and attenuates AC signals
below 50Hz.
Low-

filter
LF
Attenuates the high-frequency components above
150kHz.
High-
pass
filter
HF
Blocks the DC component and attenuates low frequency
components below 7kHz.
Hold-Off
Use the "adjust" knob to adjust the Hold-Off time (sec); the
value is displayed.
