Brake Light Installation:
1. Using a T-20 screw driver, remove the four screws shown
in Figure A.
2. Twist out the three light bulbs from the third brake like
shown in Figure B. Be careful, the bulbs will probably be
hot.
3. Remove the light bulbs as they will not be needed with
the new replacement third brake light.
4. Splice in the wire from the new brake light into the factory
wiring. (Figure C)
Verify wiring with a digital multi-meter
a. RED wire from the new light to ORANGE wire
(brake)
b. WHITE wire from the new light to BLACK wire
(ground)
c. YELLOW wire from the new light to WHITE wire
(reverse)
d. There is a white loop on the camera wiring that
should be cut. This loop removes the parking
lines and mirrors the image. If these functions
are desired, connect the two short white wires.
