All accessories, switches, climate controls panels, and

especially air bag indicator lights must be connected before cycling

the ignition. Also, do not remove the factory radio with the key in the

on position, or while the vehicle is running.

99-9604 Dash Disassembly 1. Unsnap and remove the trim panel around the outside of the radio, switches, and climate controls. (Figure A) 2. Remove (4) T-20 Torx screws to remove the radio. (Figure B) There are (2) different methods for installing this kit. Option 1 does not require the kit to be secured to the sub-dash bracket whereas option 2 does. If choosing option 1, skip to kit assembly. If choosing option 2, proceed to the next step. (Figure A) (Figure C) (Figure B) (Figure D) 3.

99-9604 Kit Assembly ISO DIN radio provision with pocket Option 2 Option 1 1. Remove the metal DIN sleeve and trim ring from the aftermarket radio. 2. Attach the pocket to the lower section of the radio brackets using the (4) #8 x 3/8” Phillips pan-head screws provided. (Figure A) 3. Slide the radio into the bracket/pocket assembly, and then secure it using the screws supplied with the radio.

99-9604 Kit Assembly ISO DDIN radio provision Option 2 Option 1 1. Secure the radio brackets to the radio using the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure A) Note: The screws in the top section of the radio must be flush in the radio brackets in order to properly slide into the factory sub-dash. (4) 5mm x 12mm Phillips flat-head screws have been supplied if the radio does not supply these type of screws. 1. Secure the radio brackets to the radio using the screws supplied with the radio.

99-9604 Desmontaje del tablero 1. Suelte a presión y quite el panel de la moldura alrededor del radio, los interruptores y los controles del clima. (Figura A) 2. Quite los (4) tornillos Torx T-20 para quitar el radio. (Figura B) Hay dos (2) métodos diferentes para instalar este kit. La opción 1 no requiere que el kit se asegure al soporte del sub tablero, mientras que la opción 2 sí lo requiere. Si elige la opción 1, omita el ensamble del kit. Si elige la opción 2, continúe con el siguiente paso.

99-9604 Ensamble del kit Provisión de radio ISO DIN con cavidad Opción 1 1. Quite la manga de metal DIN y el anillo de moldura del radio de mercado secundario. 2. Sujete la cavidad a la sección inferior de los soportes del radio usando los (4) tornillos Phillips de cabeza troncocónica #8 x 3/8”.. (Figura A) 3. Deslice el radio dentro del conjunto del soporte/la cavidad ensamble y sujételo con los tornillos suministrados con el radio.

(Figura A) Nota: Los tornillos en la parte superior del radio deben estar al ras en los soportes del radio para deslizarlo correctamente en el sub tablero de fábrica. Se han proporcionado (4) tornillos Phillips de cabeza plana de 5 mm x 12 mm si el radio no proporciona estos tipos de tornillos. 1.
