DASH DISASSEMBLY
Disconnect the negative battery terminal
to prevent an accidental short circuit.

Continue to Kit Assembly.

Remove (4) hex head screws securing
the radio unit and dsconnect the wiring.
Remove (2) #8 Phillips screws below the
radio opening.

Open the ashtray and remove (2) #8
Phillips screws exposed (it is NOT nec-
essary to remove the center screw.)
Unclip and remove the dash trim panel.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal to
prevent an accidental short circuit.

Gently pry out the dash trim bezel and
remove.

LINCOLN MARK VII 1984-1989

Remove (4) 5mm hex-head sheet metal
screws securing the factory radio unit and
disconnect the wiring.
Continue to Kit Assembly.
