Dash Disassembly 99-2011
1.
Using a panel removal
tool, pry out on the
radio trim ring and
remove. Use extreme
care when removing.
(Figure A)
2.
Gently pry up on the
ashtray/gear shifter
trim bezel and remove.
Caution: Some models
are equipped with
bezels made of real wood.
3.
Remove (2) nuts securing the
bottom of the factory radio and
disconnect the wiring.

Radio bracket disassembly
1. Remove (4) 10mm nuts, (2) on top of the radio and
(2) on the bottom of the radio, that hold the factory
mounting brackets on. Save brackets and nuts for
kit assembly.

1. Remove (2) 9/32” hex-head screws from the knee
bolster panel.
2. Pull down on the panel and remove the 9/32”
hex-head screw(s) exposed on the bottom of the
dash trim bezel. (Figure A)
3. Remove (1) Phillips screw above the instrument
cluster. (Figure A)
4. Unclip the dash
trim bezel and
remove. (Figure A)
5. Remove (2) 9/32”
hex-head screws
securing the
factory radio
and disconnect
the wiring.
