Right & Left Side Brackets

(2) Studs (2) 3/8" Nuts

1. Eject cassette or disc from factory

unit if present. Disconnect

negative battery cable to prevent

any electrical short.

2. Remove four (4) phillips screws

from left side and two (2) phillips

screws from front of instrument

cluster trimpanel.

Note: Later year models have four

(4) screws on the front (Figure 1).

3. Use a small flat blade screwdriver

to remove headlight knob by

depressing clip in rear notch of

knob (Figure 1).

4. Remove instrument cluster

trimpanel.

5. Remove one (1) phillips screw

from left side of receiver

trimpanel. Remove two (2)

phillips screws from right side and

two (2) from the bottom of trim

panel (Figure 2).

6. Remove two (2) phillips screws

securing radio. Pull out radio,

disconnect and remove (Figure 2).

Press posts on trimplate into holes on kit frame to snap parts together and secure (Figure 1). 2. Push clips on support tray into slots on rear of kit frame to secure (Figure 1). 3.
