To extend the lifetime, the lithium-ion battery
equips with the protection function to stop the
output. Therefore, if the tool is overloaded, the
motor may stop. However, this is not the trouble
but the result of protection function. In this case,
release the switch of tool and eliminate the
causes of overloading.
Don’t remove the tool from workpiece during a
cut while the saw blade is moving.
Pull out the battery after completing operation.
NOTE
Take care not to lock the motor. If the motor is locked,
immediately turn the power o . If the motor is locked
for a while, the motor or battery may be burnt.
1. Switch operation
(1) Lock-o button
The tool is equipped with a lock-o button. To start
the tool, press the lock-o button and then squeeze
the trigger switch. (Fig. 19)

CAUTION
Do not x and secure the lock-o button.
Besides, keep your nger o the trigger switch
when the tool is being carried around. Otherwise,
the trigger switch can be inadvertently turned
ON, resulting in unexpected accidents.
(2) Trigger switch
This tool is equipped with a variable speed controlled
trigger switch. The tool can be turned “ON” or
“OFF” by squeezing or releasing the trigger. The
blade plunger stroke rate can be adjusted from the
minimum to maximum nameplate stroke rate by
the pressure you apply to the trigger. Apply more
pressure to increase the speed and release pressure
to decrease speed.

2. How to use the LED light
While the switch is pulled, the LED light will
automatically light up the tip portion of the tool.
(Fig. 21)
The LED light will automatically turn o 10 seconds
after the switch is released.
The LED light also functions as a warning signal that
lights up during use.

CAUTION
Do not expose directly your eye to the light by
looking into the light.
If your eye is continuously exposed to the light,
your eye will be hurt.
Wipe o any dirt or grime attached to the lens of
the LED light with a soft cloth, being careful not
to scratch the lens.
Scratches on the lens of the LED light can result
in decreased brightness.
