5. VLC Player for RTSP
Streaming Access

The IP addresses used in the document are the default URLs and are provided for example
purposes only. You will need to use an IP address that is appropriate for your network.
To use VLC player to view RTSP streaming, follow these steps to proceed:
1. Download and install VLC Player (version 1.0.5) from http://www.videolan.org/vlc.
2. Launch VLC Player.
3. Click Media _Open Network Stream.
4. On the Network tab, choose RTSP from the Protocol menu.
5. In the Address eld enter the IP address of the stream that you want to view.
