The AP1000 and AP300 are built in Taiwan. Factory information is provided under NDA and
upon request.
AP Plenum Requirements
When installing APs in an air-handling space, as described in Article 300.22(C) of the
NEC (2005), the unit should only be powered by the Ethernet port (PoE), not by the
AC-powered power supply.
When the product is installed in air-handling spaces, the cables employed should be
suitable under NEC Articles 300.22 and 725 and marked accordingly, for use in
plenums and air-handling spaces with regard to smoke propagation, such as CL2-P,
C L 3 - P, M P P o r C M P.
