has a status output w hich lets the alarm p anel know if the doo r is

opened or clos ed. If the opener is ac tivated and the house is st ill

armed, the alar m process will proc eed just like open ing another

access point.

Sensing an obstruction

AN ADDED safety feature that is now

standard equipment on Merlin sliding

gate opener models MGS500/MGS1000

is a simple to install RPM sensor. It helps

improve safety by automatically revers-

ing the gate if an obstacle is encountered

when it is either opening or closing.

To install the 041ACOM17001 RPM

sensor:

into the top of the motor,

• screw the RPM sensor to

the top of the motor
