Access and use the Personal Directory
Example:
To enter the name and telephone
number for Chris:
1. Dial the name using the key pad.
Note: Press the Up Navigation Key to
access special characters you may want to
include in the name. Use the Navigation
Keys to locate the character you want to
include. Press the Select Key to choose the
highlighted character. Press the Return Key
to return to label entry without selecting a
special character.

2. Press the dial pad key with the desired
letter repeatedly until that letter
appears on the display.
3. Press the right Navigation key to go to
the next letter.
Note: The cursor automatically advances
to the next position, if a different-from-last
key is pressed, or after a short pause.
4. Press the Next Key.
5. Use the dial pad to enter the telephone
number associated with the name
entered above.
Note 1: The number may contain up to
31 digits.
Note 2: Press the Pause Key to insert a
1.5 second pause in the dialing string.
Note 3: If you are adding an external or
long distance number, be sure to include
the access codes required by your system to
make an external or long distance call.
6. When you have finished entering all of
the digits, press the Done Key to save
the changes.
