Installing the
SoundBlaster
AudioPCI128 Driver
When you install this software it removes the USB-Eject button from the
Taskbar in the lower right portion of the screen. After the installation of the
software you must add the USB-Eject button to the Taskbar.
To install the SoundBlaster AudioPCI128 driver
1. Put the Drivers CD in the CD-ROM drive.
2. From the main menu, click Browse CD.
3. Browse to the \win2000\compaq\system\SBAudioPCI128 folder.
4. Double-click on the Setup.exe file.
5. Select Install Software and click Next.
The software installs.
6. Click Finish.
7. Click Ye s to restart the workstation but leave the Drivers CD in the
CD-ROM drive.
To add the USB Eject button to the taskbar
1. Log into the workstation.
2. Click the Start button and choose Settings > Control Panel.
3. Double-click on Add/Remove Hardware.
4. Click Next.
5. Select Uninstall/Unplug a device and click Next.
6. Select Unplug/Eject a device and click Next.
7. Select Avid Equinox Break-Out-Box and click Next.
8. Click Next.
9. Click Finish.
10. On the Windows desktop, right-click on the My Computer icon and
select Manager.
11. From the tree, click Device Manager.
