10. Turn on the Avid Equinox Break-Out-Box.
The Avid Equinox Break-Out-Box won’t be ready to use for about 2
minutes or until the self-test is complete and the lights stop blinking.
11. You can now restart the workstation.

Subsystem Driver
You must now install the drivers needed for the Avid Equinox Break-Out-Box.
1. Put the Drivers CD into the CD-ROM drive.
The Drivers CD Main Menu is displayed.
2. Click Browse CD.
3. Browse to Win2000/Avid/equinox/drivers.
4. Double-click on the Setup.exe file and follow the instructions to install
the Equinox drivers.
5. When the Installation Wizard window opens, click Next.
The Select Components window displays.
6. Select both the PCI and BOB drivers in the window and click Next.
7. Click Ye s in the Signature Not Found dialog box.
The Found New Hardware Wizard is displayed.
8. Click Next and the Install Device Driver window displays.
9. Choose Display a list of known hardware drivers and click Next.
The Select device driver dialog box is displayed.
10. Click Have disk and the Install from Disk window displays.
11. Click Browse and the Locate File window displays.
12. Browse to E:\win2000\Avid\equinox\drivers\Equinox PCI.
13. Choose Equinox_PCI.inf and click Open.
14. Click OK in the Install From Disk window.
15. Click Next in the Select device driver window.
16. Click Next to install the driver.
17. Click Finish.
18. Click Ye s in the Digital Signature Not Found dialog box.
19. Select Ye s , restart the computer and click Finish.
