Software If you receive a news system most of the software that you receive on CD is
also installed on your workstation's hard drive. You should keep the Software,
Drivers, and Recovery CDs in a safe place in case you need to reinstall the
software or any of the drivers.
The Avid|DS software package contains:
•Avid|DS Software CD
•Avid|DS Drivers CD
•Two Avid|DS Recovery CDs
- One for the IBM 6866
- One for the Compaq EVO W8000
• Software protection key (dongle)
Your workstation comes with the following software components pre-
installed on your workstation:
• Windows 2000 Professional and Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 software
• Merging Technologies Mykerinos
•WACOM software
• 3Dlabs Wildcat 6210 software
The documentation for the software components is also shipped
with the system.
