15. When the Start Copying Files dialog box is displayed, review your
installation settings and if you’re satisfied, click Next.
A progress indicator is displayed as the Avid|DS RP files are copied to
your workstation.
16. When the Workgroup Configuration window displays, configure your
workstation as a Join an Existing Avid|DS Workgroup and choose the
master of the workgroup from the pulldown menu.
17. Click Next to save the Workgroup Configuration.
18. When the Service Configuration Window opens, enter your login
information. Click Next.
19. Add the users or group that you want to Allow Access to the Avid|DS
workgroup. These should be the same users specified in the Administrator
or Power user’s group of the Client Workstations. Click Next.
Setup now updates your workstation.
20. Your workstation software is updated and the Install Wizard Window
opens. Click Finish.
If you need to change options use the Back button to go as far back
as you need to change the options.
At this time Media Indexer and Project Indexer are automatically
installed on the system. These files are installed but not enabled.
