• Mounting bolts are secure
• No excessive side movement or binding when lifted and spun when
in freewheel

6 Castor Assemblies
• Bolts are tight
•
Inspect the castor assembly for correct tension by spinning the
castor assembly; the castor assembly should come to a gradual stop.
• Attention: As with any powerchair, the wheels and tyres should
be checked periodically for cracks and wear, and should be
replaced if necessary

• Ensure all fasteners are secure

6.2 Regular Servicing Record
To make sure your powerchair is correctly serviced, take it to your Medicare Technology dealer for
regular maintenance checks. This should be done annually after an initial inspection after one
month. Your dealer may charge a fee for this. The checking record is shown overleaf.
Suggestion:
Even if you do not use the vehicle for a long time it should still be regularly maintained.
