• Step 11) Place the thrust bearing on the top gear along
with the shim race (thickness that was originally
removed) or a (1.62mm) .064 starting point shim race,
install the top cover and torque to (27Nm) 20 lb. ft.
• Step 12) Making sure that the gears are lined up (+) plus over (-)
minus and the gears are in the proper position with the
marks on the back of the driveshaft housing.
