(1) If your driving habits include continuous stop-and-go
driving or driving in hilly areas, more frequent
intervals may be required.
(2) Change (not just inspect) automatic transmission fluid
every 30,000 miles (48,000 km) or 24 months if your
driving habits frequently include one or more of the
following conditions: operation during hot weather
(above 90° F, 32° C), carrying heavy loads and in hilly
areas. Towing a trailer or using a car-top carrier. Police,
taxi or door-to-door delivery service.
