Autolamp On/Off Delay System (If equipped)

[CF15600(ALL)01/96]

The autolamp sets the headlamps to turn on and off

automatically. You can use the autolamp to:

[CF15700(ALL)01/96]

■ turn on the headlamps automatically at night

[CF15800(ALL)01/96]

■ turn off the headlamps automatically during daylight

[CF15900(ALL)05/96]

■ keep the headlamps on for approximately three minutes after

you turn the key to OFF

[CF15950(ALL)01/96]

To set the autolamp:

[CF16000(ALL)01/96] 1. Make sure the headlamp control knob is in the OFF position.

If the knob for the headlamps is on, the autolamp system is

canceled.

[CF16100(ALL)05/96] 2. Turn the ignition key to start your vehicle.

[CF16200(ALL)01/96] 3. Use the autolamp thumbwheel to activate the autolamp

feature. It is located to the left of the instrument cluster. The

white mark indicates the approximate center of the

thumbwheel.
