Disarming a triggered anti-theft system

The alarm can be disarmed by:
[CF78600(ALL)01/96]
■ unlocking the driver or passenger doors
[CF78700(ALL)03/96]
■ unlocking the doors with the remote keyless entry
transmitter (if equipped)
[CF78800(ALL)01/96]
■ putting the key in the ignition and turning it to the ACC
position
[CF78900(ALL)01/96]
NOTE: The flashing lights and honking horn will shut off
automatically within 2 minutes 30 seconds after the
system is triggered. It will trigger again if another
intrusion occurs. However, the starter circuit remains
disabled until the system is disarmed.
[CF79000(ALL)05/96]
NOTE: Factory installed remote keyless entry systems will
only operate with the ignition in the OFF position.
