Notes, cautions, and timesavers use these conventions and symbols:
Tip
A tip will help you to solve a problem. A tip might not be troubleshooting or
even an action, but could be useful information.
Note
Notes contain helpful suggestions or references to materials not contained in
this manual.
Caution
Be careful. In Caution situations, you might do something that could result
equipment damage or loss of data.
Warning
A warning symbol means danger. You are in a situation that could cause
bodily injury. Before you work on any equipment, be aware of the hazards
involved with electrical circuitry and be familiar with standard practices for
preventing accidents.
Regulatory Notice
This device complies with the FCC limits a class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. A
complete list of regulatory certifications can be provided by Mercury Networks upon request. These limits
are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does
cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the

following measures:
Re-orient or relocate the receiving antenna(s).
Increase the separation between the equipment and other receiver.
