5.2.1 3x2x2 OmniWave Configuration
The base station allows for a configuration supporting a 3 sectors deployment and therefore allows for a
flexible coverage area. Figure 14 shows the configuration steps described below:
Step 1:
Determine the optimal antenna placement configuration to support coverage and capacity
requirements for your deployment
Step 2:
Connect Cables from Ant-1 and Ant-2 to Antenna Panel A (Ports 1 and 2)
Step 3:
Connect Cables from Ant-3 and Ant-4 to Antenna Panel B (Ports 1 and 2)
Step 4:
Connect Cables from Ant-5 and Ant-6 to Antenna Panel C (Ports 1 and 2)
