a. Close the fuel cap vent on the internal fuel tank.

Move the fuel valve to the "OFF" (closed) position.

c. Connect the remote fuel line to the outboard.
d.
Position the fuel line primer bulb so the arrow on the side of the bulb is
pointing up. Squeeze the fuel line primer bulb several times until it
feels firm.

e. Open the fuel tank vent on manual venting type tanks.

7. Position the throttle grip as follows:

Cold engine ‑ Move to the START position.
