Control Cable Installation
THROTTLE CABLE INSTALLATION
Install the cables into the remote control following the instructions provided with
the remote control.
1.
Position the remote control handle into full forward throttle position.
NOTE: The throttle cable is the second cable to move when moving the
control box out of neutral.
2. Attach the throttle cable end guide to the throttle lever with a washer and
cotter pin retainer.
3. Adjust the cable barrel so that the installed throttle cable will hold the
throttle level against the throttle stop.
4. Position the throttle cable into the rubber grommet and place the cable
barrel into the barrel receptacle.
5. Move the remote control handle to the full throttle position and check to
make sure that the throttle cable end guide does not contact the remote
control harness.
