An
unusual side table, the minimalistic Yeh Wall Table stands on two legs – balanced by a
section of thin tabletop that bends upwards at a 90-degree angle against the wall for sup-
port. The two slender tubular legs are slightly angled to provide additional stability. Taiwan-
ese designer Kenyon Yeh was inspired to create the table after walking past
cheerleaders practicing strength exercises close to his studio in Taipei. One them was in a
seated position, resting his back against a wall. The Yeh Table, with its clean lines, mimics that
pose. Use as a side-table for books, plants or a lamp. Lightweight and portable, the Yeh Table
is a perfect for homes with limited space.
About the Designer
Kenyon Yeh opened his first studio in London in 2010 to create furniture, lighting and product
design. He now lives and works in Taipei, Taiwan. A graduate of London’s Kingston University,
Kenyon’s strongly European-inspired signature style is simple with a nod to the strict
functionality of the 1960s and 1970s.
