You must use Milpack silicate 1000
o
F stove sealant (#65-06-00909) on all inner pipe joints when using
pipes and components that do not incorporate a fiberglass or graphite gasket at the joints. High temper-
ature foil tape must be used on the outer (air intake) pipe joints. The Milpak silicate 1000
o
F sealant (#65-
06-00909) can be ordered through Mendota directly.
NOTE: DO NOT SEPARATE TELESCOPING SECTIONS.
THEY MUST
BE USED AS COMPLETE ASSEMBLIES.
