Step 1: Frames
Step 2: Frame
1) Gather four 2”x4”x6’, one 2”x6”x12’ and four 2”x4”x18’ in
preparation to build a frame. Cut the 2”x6”x12’ board to 6’ and
cut the 18’ boards to 12’.
2) Build the frame as pictured below. Be sure to extend the
2”x4”x6’ and 2”x6”x12’ boards 1-1/2” past the 12’ frame uprights.
You will build two frames like this.
3) Cut eight 2”x4” and two 2”x6” boards to 69” long
4) Stand upright frames and attach the frames with the 69”
boards by lining up the boards with the end 1-1/2” overhang.

Exceeding the 72” rise will require longer material for the uprights. Diagonal
bracing may be added depending on height.
