Installation Instructions
1) Angle both ends of the 4 treated
2×4s to create the skids.
2) Build the frame as pictured to the
right. Use 2×4×6s for the uprights.
Attach boards inside the top front and
along both uprights to frame the door.
3) Cut the tops of the rafters to a 4/12
pitch. Cut the bottoms to match the
girts. Connect the rafters with a
2×4 flat purlin flush with the peak of
the rafters.
4) Build the door as pictured. Attach it
to the building frame with the hinges.
Drill a hole in the uprights for the latch.
5) Cut and attach the steel and trims.
Extend the door steel above and below
the door frame to cover gaps. Cover
the front bottom board with hem trim.
6) Drill holes and attach the rope
through the skids.
