Installation Instructions
1) Cut 8 - 2×4s and 2 - 2×6s @ 72'' in
preparation for building the frames.
2) Build the two frames as pictured to
the right. Be sure to extend the boards
1½'' past the 12' frame uprights.
3) Cut 8 - 2×4s and 2 - 2×6s @ 69''.
4) Stand upright frames and attach the
frames with the 69'' boards by lining up
the boards with the end 1½'' overhangs.
5) Once the structure is standing, frame
the floor as shown with 2×6s.
6) To frame the roof, cut the top of the
rafter to a 4/12 pitch and cut the bottom
to match the laterals. Connect the rafters
with a 2×4 on each side flush with the
peak of the rafters to make the ridge.
NOTE: Exceeding the 70'' rise will
require longer material for the uprights.
Diagonal bracing may be added
depending on height.
