Troubleshooting
If your grill should indicate a fault during operation, please consult this table for guidance. If the solutions
proposed here do not remedy the problem, please contact your dealer or call Rösle direct on the phone

The grill has overheated,

Switch the grill off and leave it to cool down. If necessary, fol-
low the instructions in the section "General warnings". Clean
the inside of the grill and remove any surplus fuel before re-
starting the grill.
Error message
"ER-2"
The grill has failed to light
within the 30 minutes al-
lowed.

Check whether the igniter is heating up (if not it may have to be
replaced).
In extremely cold weather, the grill may require longer to light.
Make sure that the grill hood is closed.

Check that the mains plug is properly plugged into the power
outlet socket.
Check whether there has been a power cut.
Grill does not switch
on
The grill is not connected
to the power socket.
Check that your grill is connected to a working power socket
with a residual current device.
A voltage spike has blown
the fuse on the ITC circuit
board.
The fuse has to be replaced manually. Refer to the relevant
instructions at the end of this section.
Grill produces too
much smoke or dis-
coloured smoke
The wood pellets have ab-
sorbed moisture.
