TEST/CHECK CAPACITY
This feature enables capacity measurement of the rechargeable battery.
After full recharge, the battery will be discharged. Capacity (in mAh or
mA) can only be monitored when the battery has been fully discharged.
Low capacity could indicate end-of-life of the battery.
With the DISPLAY key the following can be viewed.
STAGE 1 :
CHARGE
The max. charging
current of 1000mA
has been selected by
the user.
STAGE 2 :
DISCHARGE
A discharging current
rated at 50% of
charging current is
applied,
i.e. 500mA.
STAGE 3 :
END OF
DISCHARGE
MODE
The available
capacity of the
battery appears.
i.e. 1920mAh.
STAGE 4 :
END OF TEST MODE/
TRICKLE CHARGE
Slow trickle charge is
monitored. In this
example the current
applied is 60mA.
