Repairs and
Service
Warning!
After removing covers, live parts may be exposed. You may
receive an electric shock if you touch these parts. Disconnect
the mains plug before removing any covers. Any work inside
the appliance may only be performed by qualifi ed electri-
cians.
Repairs and service work are described in a separate service manual.
8.2.1
Replacing fl uorescent tubes (only for model ICH L)
Warning!
UV light is a danger to your eyes. Your eyes could be injured
by UV light if you do not wear
protection. Please always
wear
UV
safety goggles when testing the function of fl uores-
cent tubes.

Replace the
fluorescent tubes only with
fluorescent tubes of the same power and type;
e.g. UV light tubes only with UV light tubes, not daylight tubes. For information on the
specifications, please refer to chapter Technical data from page 14.

Do not replace single tubes, but always the entire tube set (e.g. all UV light tubes instead
of just one). Replacing single tubes can influence the light output.
1.
Switch off the appliance and remove the mains plug.
2.
Loosen the connection of the
illumination box in the interior. To do so, turn the bayonet
catch to the left and pull off the plug (Fig. 31).
3.
Pull the illumination box out of the appliance on both handles (Fig. 32).
