Start screen and

licence file

CELSIUS FDA Version can be started only with a valid

licence file containing a list of equipment

serial numbers which can be accessed with this version. The

licence file called “LICENSE.XML“

is located in the CELSIUS folder and carries a digital signature; it is thus protected against any

alteration.

The

licence file contains also a licence number and optionally an entity name which is included

in the GLP data. The digital signature on the

licence file can be produced only by MEMMERT.

The licence number remains unchanged if the entity name is altered or if additional equip-

ment is purchased, so that all data remain readable.

The digital signature ensures that CELSIUS refuses to operate if the

licence file has been al-

tered. Without a valid

licence file in the CELSIUS base folder CELSIUS operates in the standard

version (not FDA-version) .

Once the programme has started, the

start screen appears. Confirm the

infobox (3) with

license information by clicking on "OK".
