Appendix C: Replacing a Tall Bracket With a Short Bracket

This section provides instructions on how to remove the tall bracket of a standard Mellanox Tech-

nologies adapter card and replace it with a short one. It includes the following sections:

• Removing a bracket

• Installing a new bracket

To replace the bracket you will need the following parts:

• the new bracket of the proper height

• one new QSFP EMI gasket

• the 2 screws saved from the removal of the bracket

• the 2 fiber washers saved from the removal of the bracket
