period of time. We therefore recommend storing the Melitta

lter in the refrigerator in a glass of water when the appliance will not be in
use for extended periods.
– After inserting the Melitta
®
Claris
®
water lter excess active charcoal will be
washed out of the lter the rst time the appliance is rinsed out. This can
cause the rinse water to appear slightly grey in colour. Subsequently the
water will again be clear.
