Recharging
• Chargetheappliancefullybefore
usingforthersttimeorafteralong
period without use. This ensures
maximumbatterycapacityandlong
service life. It takes around 6 hours
to fully recharge. The battery will
only function optimally after it has
beenchargedanddischarged2-3
times.
• Plugthesuppliedchargerinand
insert the plug on the charger cord
into the charging socket on the
appliance.
• PresstheON/OFFbutton(8)on
topoftheappliance.Note:The
appliance will not start to charge
iftheON/OFFbuttonisnot
positionedon”ON”.
• Theindicatorlightonthecharging
socket (6) will come on and the
indicator light on the charger will
be red as long as the appliance
is charging. Once the indicator
light on the charging socket goes
off, and the indicator light on the
charger is green, the appliance is
fully charged.
• Pleasenote:Theappliance’sbuilt-
in, rechargeable battery can be
found in the battery compartment
(10)inthebaseoftheappliance.
Contact the retailer or service
workshopifthebuilt-inbattery
requires replacement. The battery
is a consumable item and is not
covered by the warranty.
Assembly before use:
• Checkthattherotatingbrush(12)is
clean and that there is no hair, pile,
etc. wound around it.
• Makesurethatthedustcontainer
(2)anditsdustlterareemptyand
ttedcorrectlytotheappliance.
• Checkthattheedgesensors(9)are
not covered or dirty.
• Makesurethatthebatteryis
fully charged before you start the
appliance.
Preparing the room
• Removeanyobstaclesfromthe
oor,suchascables,looseobjects,
etc. that may prevent the appliance
from functioning or get caught in
the brushes. There must be at least
40cmbetweenobjectsontheoor
if the appliance is to pass between
them.
• Removealllooserugs.
• Beawarethattheappliancemay
get stuck under sofas and chairs,
for instance, if the clearance
beneath them is roughly the same
as the height of the appliance.
Use
• Placeapplianceinmiddleofthe
oortobecleaned.
• Switchtheapplianceonusing
theon/offbutton(8)ontopofthe
appliance. The indicator light in the
button will come on.
• Starttheappliancebypressingthe
start/stopbutton(7).
• Theappliancewillrunoutwardsin
a spiral. If the bumper sensor hits
an object, the appliance will change
direction. The edge sensors ensure
that the appliance does not fall
downstairs or over an edge.
