OPERATION
1.Closethelidsandpluginthe
appliance.
2. Preheat the waffle iron for about
eightminutes.Itisthenreadyfor
use.
3.Therearetwoneonlightsonthe
unit.Whentheredlightcomeson
itindicatesthattheunitisheating
up.Theunitregulatesitsown
temperature,sowhenitreachesits
topcookingtemperature,thegreen
lightwillcomeontoindicatetheunit
is hot, but not in heating mode.
NoteslThelightsdonottellyouif
yourwafeironarereadyornot.
4.Openthetwolids.Thenon-stick
plates should be lightly greased with
a small amount of oil, margarine or
butter before use.
5. Put the dough on the middle of the
lower plate.
6.Closetheupperlidandpressdown
gently to help spread the dough
evenly.
7.Oncethebakingprocessisnished,
removethewafeimmediately.
8.Placefreshdoughintothewaffle
iron immediately after removing the
wafe.
9.Afteruse,removetheplugfromthe
wallsocketandallowtheappliance
tocooldownwithopencooking
plates.
PRACTICAL HINTS
• Inordertomaintainthecrispnessof
thewafes,placethemnexttoeach
otheronaracktocool.(Placedon
topofeachother,thewafewilllose
theircrispness).
• Ifmilkisusedinsteadofwater,the
wafeswillbesofteranddarker.
• Inordertoachieveevenbrowning,
all ingredients should have the same
temperature.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Beforecleaning,removetheplug
fromthewallsocketandwaituntil
theappliancehascooleddownwith
thecookingplatesopen.
• Forreasonsofelectricalsafety,never
use water or any other kind of liquid
onthewafeironnorimmerseit.
• Cleantheoutsideoftheappliance
withasoftdampclothonly.
• Thenon-stickcoatedplatescanbe
cleanedwithadampclothorasoft
brush.
