OPERATION
1.Closethelidsandpluginthe
appliance.
2. Preheat the waffle iron for about
eightminutes.Itisthenreadyfor
use.
3.Therearetwoneonlightsonthe
unit.Whentheredlightcomeson
itindicatesthattheunitisheating
up.Theunitregulatesitsown
temperature,sowhenitreachesits
topcookingtemperature,thegreen
lightwillcomeontoindicatetheunit
is hot, but not in heating mode.
NoteslThelightsdonottellyouif
yourwafeironarereadyornot.
4.Openthetwolids.Thenon-stick
plates should be lightly greased with
a small amount of oil, margarine or
butter before use.
5. Put the dough on the middle of the
lower plate.
6.Closetheupperlidandpressdown
gently to help spread the dough
evenly.
7.Oncethebakingprocessisnished,
removethewafeimmediately.
8.Placefreshdoughintothewaffle
iron immediately after removing the
wafe.
9.Afteruse,removetheplugfromthe
wallsocketandallowtheappliance
tocooldownwithopencooking
plates.
PRACTICAL HINTS
• Inordertomaintainthecrispnessof
thewafes,placethemnexttoeach
otheronaracktocool.(Placedon
topofeachother,thewafewilllose
theircrispness).
• Ifmilkisusedinsteadofwater,the
wafeswillbesofteranddarker.
• Inordertoachieveevenbrowning,
all ingredients should have the same
temperature.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Beforecleaning,removetheplug
fromthewallsocketandwaituntil
theappliancehascooleddownwith
thecookingplatesopen.
• Forreasonsofelectricalsafety,never
use water or any other kind of liquid
onthewafeironnorimmerseit.
• Cleantheoutsideoftheappliance
withasoftdampclothonly.
• Thenon-stickcoatedplatescanbe
cleanedwithadampclothorasoft
brush.
