SPEAKER BATTERY RECHARGING
When you remove the speakers from the Docking Base and listen to music wirelessly, the built-in
rechargeable lithium batteries will eventually reach a low power condition. The speaker status red
LED will start flashing before it switches to solid red and then goes off, so please charge you
speaker battery immediately when the LED turns to solid red.
1. Position the two speakers onto the recessed charging area located on the Docking Base.
Each speaker has it’s own charging bay.
2. The Docking Base LED for each speaker will flash blue, indicating that the speaker battery is
being charged.
3. The Docking Base LED for each speaker will turn solid blue after charging for about 4 - 5
hours in speaker power off mode or once the battery is fully recharged.
Note: 1. To allow the speakers to charge to maximum capacity, the sound level will be reduced
to about 80% automatically if you use the speakers with the docking base while
charging them. Press the volume control of docking base to increase the sound level if
necessary after charging.
2. Please manually turn the speaker box volume down if you use the speakers with
computer while charging them. Charging time will vary if you are listening to music
while charging the speakers. We recommend you switch off the speaker power during
the charging process or until the speaker batteries are fully charged.
3. To prolong the life of a rechargeable battery, it is recommended to completely
discharge it before fully charging it again.
4. Rechargeable batteries need to be cycled for maximum performance and longer
battery life. If you don’t use the player that often, be sure to recharge the battery at
least once a month in order to keep the internal battery working properly.
