Unless specifically approved by their manufacturers, brake discs and drums must not be re-
drilled to suit different stud patterns or machined to fit larger hub centres or wheel bearings.

BRAKE LINES, HOSES AND CABLES
Rigid brake lines must not be welded, brazed or soldered but must be double flared in
accordance with SAE J5336 or its equivalent. Copper brake lines must not be used but copper-
nickel alloy or “Cunifer” tubing is acceptable.
