BEFORE USE
Charging the battery
NOTE:
Only charge the battery with the supplied
charger.
If the battery is very hot, remove it from
the charger and allow it to cool to ambient
temperature before charging it.
The battery is uncharged on delivery. The
battery must therefore be charged before
using it for the rst time.
Charge the battery to at least half capacity,
preferably full capacity, before putting into
storage. Charge the battery at intervals of 3
to 6 months if the product is not in use.

Battery charging
1. Connect the charger to a power point.
2. Put the battery in the charger. The status
light goes red during the charging.
3. The battery is fully charged in about 1
hour. When the battery is fully charged
the status light goes from red to green.
4. Unplug the charger from the power point
and remove the battery from the charger
when it is fully charged.
WARNING!
If the battery is hot as a result for example of
intensive use, exposure to direct sunlight or
high ambient temperature, allow it to cool
before charging. A hot battery charges less
eciently and will not reach its full capacity.

Removing and inserting the
battery
To remove the battery, press the battery lock
release button and pull out the battery from
the battery compartment. To insert the battery,
push it in the battery compartment to lock it
in place.

Check that the power switch is switched o
before putting in the battery.
USE
SWITCHING ON AND OFF
Switching on
Move the power switch button forward and
press its front edge down to lock. The power
switch is now locked and the product runs
continuously.

Press the back of the power switch button and
move the button back.
