REPLACING DISCS
WARNING!
Grinding and cutting discs get very hot when
in use – do not touch them before they have
cooled.
DISMANTLING
1. Clean the spindle and all parts to be
tted.
2. Press the spindle lock button and turn the
with the supplied hex key until the spindle
lock engages and locks the spindle.
3. Keep the spindle lock button pressed and
release the spindle screw and its washer
anticlockwise with the supplied hex screw.
4. Remove the spindle screw, washer and
disc.

WARNING!
Never attempt to press the spindle lock
button before the spindle has stopped, this
can damage the product.
ASSEMBLY
NOTE:
Check that the disc is the right size. The
centre hole on the disc must t perfectly on
the spindle. Do not use a diameter reducer or
other adapter.
1. Put the disc on the spindle. Check that it
ts correctly.
2. Put the spindle screw with the washer
through the centre hole in the disc and
screw the screw in the spindle.
3. Press the spindle lock button and turn the
spindle with the supplied hex key until the
spindle lock engages and the spindle is
locked in place.
4. Keep the spindle lock button pressed and
tighten the spindle screw and its washer
clockwise with the supplied hex key. Check
that the disc is rmly in place.

WARNING!
Check before starting the product that the
disc is correctly in place and can rotate freely
without scraping against the guard or any
other part.
Approved grinding/cutting discs
Only discs approved for at least the speed
(rpm) or peripheral speed (mps) specied in
the table below must be used.
Disc diameter Ø76 mm
Disc thickness 1.0 mm
Centre hole diameter 10 mm
Speed 20800 rpm
Peripheral speed 80 m/s²
DUST AND CHIP EXTRACTION
Dust from materials such as lead paint and
some types of wood, minerals and metals, can
be a health hazard and cause allergic reactions
or damage to the respiratory organs of users
and/or onlookers.
Dust from oak and birch, for example, is
considered to be carcinogenic, especially
in combination with some wood treatment
agents (e.g. chromates and wood
preservatives). Materials that contain asbestos
should only be handled by qualied personnel.
- The work area should be well ventilated.
- It is recommended to use a breathing
mask with a P2 lter. Always follow the
applicable regulations.
Use a dust extractor or clean the work area
frequently to prevent the accumulation of dust
– re hazard or dust explosion.
