Setup
SETUP CONFIGURATION AND OPERATING SETTINGS
Table 7 lists the operating settings for the LIFEPAK CR-T AED Trainer setup configuration, describes
the options for each setting, and identifies the preset default for each setting. Your defibrillator may not
have all of the functions identified in Table 7.

SHOCK PROTOCOL
There are six shock protocol options available:
Four protocols (F1 through F4) are preset and cannot
be modified during setup.
Two protocols (C1 and C2) can be user-defined or
customized by the instructor.

When Stack Shocks is OFF, each shock/no shock decision
is followed by an interval of CPR (interval = time).
When Stack Shocks is ON, each series of consecutive
shocks will be followed by an interval of CPR (refer to the
CPR time settings on page 3-17.
F1 - Fixed #1 One
SHOCK ADVISED followed by three NO SHOCK ADVISED
decisions.
F2 - Fixed #2 Two
SHOCK ADVISED followed by two NO SHOCK ADVISED
decisions.
F3 - Fixed #3 One
NO SHOCK ADVISED, followed by one SHOCK ADVISED,
followed by two
NO SHOCK ADVISED decisions.
F4 - Fixed #4 Four
NO SHOCK ADVISED decisions.
C1 - Custom #1 Defined by instructor (refer to page 3-19). Nine consecutive

START PROMPT
When the Trainer lid is opened, two beeping tones confirm
that the Trainer is turned ON and that a training scenario
has begun. A
CALL FOR HELP voice prompt can be added
following the beeping tones.

Three signs of life voice prompt options are available.

CHECK FOR PULSE This prompt is for the more advanced trainee to check for a
pulse.

BREATHING
This prompt is for the lay trainee to check for signs of

CHECK FOR SIGNS
OF CIRCULATION
This prompt is for the lay trainee to check for signs of
circulation.
