Incontinence
PerforMAX™ Underpads
The underpad features a Swift-Dry top layer that wicks fluid
in quickly and moves it to the center core. Super absorbent
core disperses fluid throughout the pad so the top feels
dryer quicker. The bonded bottom layer anchors the pad,
giving it needed structure. Bonded construction thins the
pad for less bulkiness with no decrease in absorption.
Our special lamination process results in an underpad
that lays flat with no bunching or rolling. PerforMAX™
pads resist stains and can be cleaned faster and easier,
conserving energy and water so you will get more uses
per pad before the pad is discarded.

Underpad
The PerforMAX LT is the only
reusable incontinent pad from
Medline that does two things
at once:
1) Contains fluid
2) Allows perspiration vapor to escape in order
to maintain a cool, comfortable temperature
under the patient
What is Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate?
Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate (MVTR) is a measure
of the passage of water vapor through a substance.
Why is this important for incontinent pads?
Pads that allow for moisture vapor to pass through
the barrier reduces heat and moisture build up from
perspiration keeping the patient more comfortable.
Is the pad still fluid-proof?
Yes. Moisture vapor molecules are much smaller than
water molecules. Moisture vapor can get through, but
fluid is contained in the pad.
