8. Take the mattress off the bed. Place the assembled bed assist at a desired
location on your bed. Bed assist will sit between the bed frame and the mattress,
or between box spring and the mattress. The legs will need adjusting depending
on the height of your bed frame ( Fig.1). Make sure that the legs are firmly touching
the ground. Once in place, take the strap (F) and thread it through the 2 loops in
the base (Fig.2). Depending on the size of your bed you might be able to only loop it
through one loop in order to reach the opposite side of the bed (on king size beds).
9. Secure the strap around the bed frame on the opposite side of the bed and tighten.
10. Place the mattress back on the bed.
11. Depending on the width of your mattress the top of the assist bar might need
height adjustment, adjust to desired height by pulling out the e-clip (Fig.2b) and
pushing in the push button.
GENERAL WARNINGS
Before use ensure that all push buttons and clips are securely in place and that the
legs are leveled and are securely touching the ground.
This unit is not meant to support full body weight but to assist with stability when
getting in or out of the bed.
This unit is not meant to be used as a restraint for preventing people from rolling
out of bed.
7. Attach the Storage Pocket (G) to the outside of the Assist Bar (A).
