Cleaning,

care and

storage

The device must be cleaned after each use. Do not use aggressive clean-

ing agents or strong brushes so that the surface is not damaged. Never im-

merse the device or parts of it in water and never rinse them under running

water! To clean properly proceed as follows:

• Make sure that the device has been disconnected from the power grid.

• Clean the housing with a clean, lint-free and dry cloth.

• Moisten a soft, lint-free cloth with a few drops of water and clean the

skin contact area

and the light area

thoroughly.

• Store the device in a dry and dust-free location, ideally in the original

packaging according to the storage conditions in chapter 5.5 “Speci-

cations”.

5.2

Replacing

the cartridge

2 cartridges are included in the delivery scope with a lifetime of up to 50,000

light pulses each. In case of normal use in accordance with these instruc-

tions one cartridge is enough for an individual user for several years of

use. If spots are visible no or hardly any light emissions take place or the

lens is broken, the cartridge should be replaced. To do this pull out the old

cartridge and insert the new one.
