Uninstalling an app
NOTE!
Not all apps can be
uninstalled. If the
"Uninstall" option is
not displayed, this app
cannot be uninstalled.
 Right-click on the Start screen.
 Click on All Apps in the lower right corner
of the display.
 Right-click the desired app.
 Click Uninstall at the bottom edge of the
display.
 Swipe from the bottom to the top on the
Start screen to display all apps.
 Press and hold your finger down on
the desired app until the context menu
appears on the lower edge.
 Tap on Uninstall at the bottom edge of
the display.
Running apps as an administrator
(Only possible with desktop apps)
 Right-click the desired app.
 Now click on Run as administrator at the
bottom edge of the display.
 Press and hold your finger down on
the desired app until the context menu
appears on the lower edge.
 Now tap on Run as administrator at the
bottom edge of the display.
Running an app in a new window
(Only possible with desktop apps)
 Right-click the desired app.
 Click on Open new window at the
bottom edge of the display.
 Press and hold your finger down on
the desired app until the context menu
appears on the lower edge.
 Tap on Open new window at the bottom
edge of the display.
Searching for apps
 Move the mouse pointer into the top
right-hand corner of the display, move
the mouse down and click on Search.
 Enter the name of the app.
 Open the Charms Bar by swiping from the
right edge of the screen.
 Tap on the Search symbol.
 Enter the name of the app.
