Tip
If you have already entered one or more destinations into your navigation device, three
buttons with the last entered destinations appear in the area above the menu keys.
Using these buttons you can start the navigation to this destination directly.
Manually entering destination information
After starting the navigation device, you can enter a destination to calculate a route from your
current location to the desired position. With the basic settings, the route is calculated based on
the default settings for the route options:
• Route calculation has been optimised for automobiles.
• The quickest possible route is calculated.
• Traffic jam avoidance is calculated automatically.
• In addition to rural roads, roads and A-roads, motorways are also accounted for during route
calculations
• The use of ferries is taken into account for the purposes of route calculation.
• Toll roads are taken into account for route calculation.
Manually entering destination information takes places in the Enter new dest. menu which can be
opened using the button by the same name on the start screen of the navigation software.
Tip
For safety reasons, entries may not be made by the driver whilst driving: Please make
the necessary entries before beginning the journey.
