USING THE SELF-TIMER
The self-timer allows you to take pictures 3 or 10 seconds
after you press the shutter release button all the way down.
Be careful to place the camera on a tripod or a steady sur-
face when using the self-timer.
1. Press on the four-way key until
appears on the LCD display.
2. After locking the focus and press-
ing the shutter release button all
the way down, the self-timer lamp
blinks slowly first and then quickly
for 3 or 10 seconds.
3. The camera takes the picture
automatically.
 Note: A yellow hand icon on the LCD indicates that
the camera should not be moved until it has com-
pleted capturing the photograph.
