2. TURN THE CAMERA ON
Press the on/off switch to turn the
camera on. (Press the on/off switch
again to turn off the camera.)
3. SELECT STILL MODE
Rotate the mode dial on the top of the
camera to still mode
.
4. FRAME YOUR SUBJECT
Use either the optical viewfinder or the LCD display to make
sure your subject is framed correctly.
5. SET AUTO FOCUS AND EXPOSURE
Press the shutter release button half-
way down to set the focus and expo-
sure. The focus brackets on the LCD
display will turn green when auto focus
and exposure have been set.
6. TAKE THE PICTURE
Press the shutter release button all the
way down to take the picture.
